Ferals don't meow. What is interesting is, meowing is something cats learn to deal with humans. Most of the ferals I feed start meowing after they start to get used to me and notice I bring food. They appear to figure out that meowing is a way of talking to humans. That's why I loved the translation in the second video. That moment where the cat says, "Here comes someone, act like a cat!", and then they both meow, really fits with what I've noticed on the street.
That was very funny, and I agree, likely to fit with their behaviour. I could not believe how well the words fit the action of their mouths!
