I did not quite get how the story connected to the title of this post or the following comments (after all, their blog is about bears :-) but do now. Surely the story is apocryphal, and likely a retread, but I do not care; it hits a major point perfectly and is new to me. I suspect from now on I will spend a lot of time thinking about which wolf is being fed.
