A Touch of PEI in Oregon

This is posted in the elevators in my hotel.
It 's the second somewhat failed floral festival of the year. Few of the roses in the big rose garden here had bloomed last weekend. A few weeks ago I was in Ottawa for the Tulip Festival and all the tulips had been deadheaded. Oh well, another year, I guess.
As for Lucy Maude Montgomery's question - a year of this sort of June would be lovely.
