There is a widespread power failure in Toronto.
THe CBC has decided to make this an issue of air conditioning usage with ZERO evidence. Typical.
I live in Toronto's east end, and I recall no day so warm as today. I hear NO air conditioning units (mine is not on, and it has not been on in a couple of years).
The CBC actually does have some reporters trying to work on reality - i.e. there is a transformer failure, and people who know how to fix it are fixing it. There is zero evidence this has to do with A/C load.
Oh well - a moral message would have been so much more reportable.
And so much more attractive to the CBC mediocrities.
