Church Signs of the day

I drove a round-trip between Toronto and London, Ontario today.
One interesting feature of the Ontario countryside is the widespread existence of signs outside churches. These are sometimes used to announce important events (in the summer, one of the ones en route announced the arrival of the new local pastor), but often they are the home of pretty witty comments and observations. This is not unique to Ontario, though I do not know the range of this artifact - this site is devoted to sightings and should give you a feel for the phenomenon.
We drove by a nice one in Innerkip, Ontario, today; it read "The good thing about snow is - all lawns look the same". This surely provided some comfort to any neighbours worried about keeping up with the Jones'.
Another one I saw on a church in the city yesterday was impish - "Sign broken - message inside".
It seems to me whoever is responsible for the signs has, like many bloggers, too much free time.
