Sadly, the point DMartyr makes in the last line of this post is confirmed by a number of online articles I have seen in UK online newspapers, some linked in the post. We are not amused.
Let's see - how quickly can we alienate the UK, Poland, and the Czech Republic? Pretty quickly, it would seem. Hell, who cares, we can be buddies with Hamas, Iran, and even more worthy creatures.
BTW - I thought Brown's speech to Congress was quite great, and he is no orator. And it came after the White House apparent snubs, but heaven knows Gordon Brown is made of sterner stuff and has been snubbed before.
