Other Sorts of Offsets
A few weeks ago I was explaining the concept of "carbon neutrality" and carbon offsets to some friends, when a couple of them, appropriately skeptical, thought the idea could be expended to other pernicious activities; their suggestion was that there should be bad-date offsets.And now there is a web site with a somewhat similar idea. Do make sure you read their small print.
