We Should Not be Doing That

I tried to read the ruling of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal on the Warman versus Lemire case when it went up but it was stupefyingly boring and difficult, though I think my reading roughly corresponds to what the National Post sees.
Mr. Hadjis' decision to reject the law as unconstitutional, in light of its penalty provisions, leaves a central area Canada's human rights in limbo, and kicks a political hot potato over to the government and the Canadian Human Rights Commission, which can appeal the ruling to Federal Court.

The penalty provisions were a key part of this ruling, and I think the wrong central point. But I am glad to see this tossed.
A Small Victory!
