Birds of Paree

While birds were not waking me up on my Paris vacation they were still there to amuse and entertain.
Along the Seine, the most amazing were swallows, apparently nesting in funny niches along the river walls. Unfortunately, they are very hard to photograph for someone of my skills.
But, to make up for the swans I am no longer seeing here at home, I did get this picture from the Pont Neuf.

And even more amusing, it seems I was not the only tourist, as this pigeon was well poised to admire the Dome of Les Ivalides.
